- Shoe Workshop!
Clean out your closets and let's make good use of all those lonely shoes. Turn them into works of art and display them at Bell Arts Factory and Stoneworks Studio on October 18 & 19 during ArtWalk. We'll decorate and display them - in the trees, over railings, along the fence, all over!
If you have shoes that are still usable, as in wearable tennis shoes or walking shoes, we will donate them to Catholic Charities, Project Understanding and Turning Point Foundation. The others, like the one the dog didn't chew up or that embarrassing fashion choice from years ago, we will paint and decorate. Bell Arts will hold a Shoe Art Workshop on Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. til 1 p.m at 432 N. Ventura Ave. Everyone is invited. Bring in your bag of shoes and we'll provide all the fun art supplies to help you create a work of art fit for a foot. A little of your heART and sole/soul will help this be a great success and lots of fun. For more information and for shoe drop-off or pickup, call Bell Arts Factory and talk to Joanne, 643-1960, or call Stoneworks Studio and talk to Michele, 643-5431. Please join us in the Westside Shoe Project!
