The next ArtWalk is Saturday and Sunday, April 17 &18, 2010!!!!
Hello Friends,
It's that time again! More than 50 volunteers are needed to put on the ArtWalk. Please join us in celebrating art, music and community! Pick a shift that is interesting to you or your group.

Volunteer shifts:
Opening (11-1 pm)
Set up the event including tables, chairs, special exhibits, kids activties, info booth, bands, signage. For this postion meet behind City Hall at 501 Poli Street prior to the event to load supplies into a truck.
Information Booth
Saturday:
12:30-2:30 pm; 2:30-4:30 pm; 4:30-6:30; 6:30- 9 pm
Sunday:
11:30-1:30 pm; 1:30-3 pm; 3-4:30 pm
- Distribute Volunteer T-shirts
- Distribute posters, programs, surveys
- Direct public to exhibits and entertainment
- Distribute programs and survey
The Information booth is located at the Visitors Bureau at 101 S. California St.

Entertainment and Operations
Saturday: 12- 1 pm; 6-7 pm
Sunday: 11-1:30 pm; 3-5 pm
Event opening and closing duties include: loading/unloading equipment, setting/taking down signage and setting up information booth. Also performing various duties include meeting performers, delivering materials, and duties as they come up.
ArtWalk Artist and Merchant Greeter
1-4 pm Saturday Assigned to a certain group of businesses to create a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Assigned to thanking the artists and merchants for participating in the ArtWalk. You make sure the artists have found their name-tags and have their participant numbers. You will have extra name tags, guides, a frequently asked questions sheet. With your help this is where the ArtWalk really has a chance to shine making the artists feel welcome.
Closing
7-10 pm Saturday
4-5 pm Sunday
Duties include picking up signage, barricades, tables and chairs and bringing all materials back to City Hall.
Photography Team
Pick a time between 1-10 Saturday & 12-4 pm Sunday
Have a knack for photography? Take photos of the event to be used in future marketing.The goal is to photograph every participating venue this time around! Help us do it!
Pre ArtWalk Volunteer Opportunities
Poster & Flyer Distribution: Distribute posters and/or flyers throughout Downtown Ventura and surrounding areas 2 to 3 weeks prior to the event.
Shifts: Times vary to accommodate the schedule of the volunteer.
